Newsletter subscribers

If you subscribe, we store your email address — nothing else. No name, no location, no interests.

It is held by our email provider, Resend, and used only to send the weekly digest. We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber addresses, and we do not use them for anything other than the digest you signed up for.

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted outright rather than just marked unsubscribed, email ainformed@proton.me and we will remove it.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pages are read and how fast they load. Both are cookieless and aggregate — they do not build a profile of you, do not track you across other sites, and do not store an identifier we could use to recognise you on a later visit.

We set no advertising cookies and run no third-party ad or tracking scripts.

Server logs

Our host, Vercel, records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) as a normal part of serving the site. These are used for security and debugging, are retained for a short period by Vercel, and are not combined with subscriber data.

Links out

Every article links to the original source. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site under their privacy policy, not ours.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with data protection rights, you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Since the only thing we hold is a newsletter email address, this is usually a one-line request. Email ainformed@proton.me and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the bottom of this page changes with it. See also our editorial policy for how the content itself is produced.
