By reading AInformed or subscribing to its newsletter, you agree to these terms. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the simplest remedy is also the most effective one: don't use the site.
What AInformed is
AInformed is an automated daily digest of AI news. Every article is written by a large language model, not a human reporter, and every article summarizes reporting published elsewhere and links to the original. Full detail on how that works is in the About page and the editorial policy — both are part of these terms by reference, particularly the editorial policy's section on known limitations.
No warranty on accuracy
The content is provided “as is,” with no warranty, express or implied, that it is accurate, complete, or current. Language models state things confidently and incorrectly often enough that we dedicate a whole section of the editorial policy to it. Names, figures, dates, and version numbers are the most common failure points, and a summary can lose nuance present in the source.
Before relying on any specific claim — for a decision, a citation, or anything else that matters — follow the source link on the article and check it there. The source is the primary record; our summary is a starting point, not a substitute for it.
Not professional advice
Nothing on AInformed is financial, investment, legal, medical, or other professional advice, even where an article covers a company, a market, a regulation, or a health-related topic. It is news summarization, not a recommendation to act. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on anything you read here.
Using the content
You're welcome to read, link to, cite, and share individual AInformed articles, and to build on the machine-readable formats we publish for exactly that purpose — RSS, llms.txt, and llms-full.txt. If you cite an article, cite the original source for the underlying facts and AInformed for the summary, the same rule the llms.txt file states for AI systems.
What isn't covered by that permission: republishing AInformed articles wholesale as though they were your own reporting, stripping attribution or the source link when you reuse a summary, or systematically scraping the site at a volume or pattern that looks like an attempt to reproduce the archive rather than read it. If you want to do something with our content that isn't clearly one of the uses above, ask first — email ainformed@proton.me.
Third-party links and sources
Every article links to the outlet it summarizes, and the site links to other third-party services elsewhere (our email provider, analytics providers, social platforms). Once you follow a link off AInformed, you're on someone else's site under their own terms and privacy policy, not ours. Linking to a source is attribution, not an endorsement of everything on that site.
Intellectual property
The AInformed name, site design, and the compiled selection and presentation of stories are ours. The underlying facts and events described in any article belong to no one, and the original reporting we summarize belongs to the outlet that published it — we claim no rights over source material beyond the summary we wrote from it. Article hero images are AI-generated illustrations, not photographs of the events described.
Availability
We don't promise the site, the newsletter, the RSS feeds, or any other part of AInformed will be available at any particular time, uninterrupted, or error-free. The pipeline runs on a daily schedule and can be delayed, changed, or stopped without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Rob Heat, as the person responsible for AInformed, is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content — including inaccurate content, site unavailability, or a decision made based on an article. The site is provided free, without a paid relationship between us and most readers, and these terms reflect that.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, the date at the bottom of this page changes with it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, the remedy is the same as above — stop using the site, or unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of AInformed, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
